Bennett’s Sandwich Shop Is Now Open in Boston
A famous Maine lobster roll is now available in Fenway.

The weekend may be over, but a taste familiar from many a Maine vacation is now available in Fenway. Kennebunk-born Bennett’s Sandwich Shop is now open on Peterborough Street, Eater Boston reported.
“Our doors are finally OPEN and we are incredibly blessed for all of the support,” Bennett’s shared about its Boston location just before the Fourth of July.
Bennett’s seasonal location has been open in Kennebunk since 1982. Current owners Maggie Marquis and Brendin McCord expanded into Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 2015. The founder, the late Charlie Bennett, was an accomplished athlete who was inducted into the Maine Baseball and Maine Sports Hall of Fame, and tried out for the Boston Red Sox. His namesake third location is just a short short walk from Fenway Park.
Known for lobster rolls, hot subs, like steak and cheese; and eggy breakfast sandwiches, Bennett’s has been featured on Food & Wine, the Best of Kennebunk, and more.
In Boston, it’s open daily for breakfast from 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m., with breakfast on until 11 a.m.
