The House Arrest Package
Where: The Loews Boston Hotel, 154 Berkeley St., Boston
When: Through March 31, 2018
How much: Starting at $299 per night
It’s unlikely you’ll ever voluntarily live under house arrest—that is, unless you’re kicking back inside the stone building 154 Berkeley Street. Built in 1924 as the City of Boston Police Department Headquarters, the more than 70,000-square-foot complex is now the Loews Boston Hotel. To hearken back to its roots, the hotel is offering a “House Arrest” package through next spring.
“You don’t need to rob a bank to spend a few nights in the former Boston Police Headquarters,” insists the hotel. Instead, you’ll be handed a room key to come and go at your leisure. A “House Arrest” stay begins with a welcome amenity in the form of a charcuterie board from Precinct Kitchen + Bar. You’ll also receive a $150 food and beverage credit, complimentary valet parking, and a free in-room movie (for a proper lockdown, of course).
