Honeygrow’s Second Boston Location Is Coming to the Seaport
As promised, Philadelphia-based Honeygrow continues its Boston expansion: a second stir-fry outpost will debut on Fan Pier on October 13.
It’s also the second stir-fry outpost on Fan Pier. Honeygrow is headed for 100 Northern Ave., where the newest Wagamama also recently opened. The new Honeygrow will feature a mural by Cambridge artist Caleb Neelon, whose colorful Koosh-ball-esque style you’ll certainly recognize.
Honeygrow debuted in Fenway in July, bringing signature noodle, rice, and grain bowls; salads, and the Honeybar—a counter for build-your-own yogurt bowls topped with fruit, chocolate chips, local honey, and more. The brand also makes cold-pressed juices. The Seaport location will open with the chain’s fall menu, including a new, seasonal roasted pork stir-fry with egg noodles, baby spinach, broccoli, red onion, chili flakes, and shaved asiago; and a fall arugula salad with maple cider vinaigrette, roasted yams, red onion, pecans, dried cranberries, and goat cheese.
There are nearly 20 Honeygrow locations in Pennsylvania, the Washington, D.C. area, the New York City area, and newly in Chicago. The company is deep in expansion mode, and is also eyeing Back Bay and some Boston-area suburbs, chief brand officer Jen Denis told Boston in July.
Honeygrow is fundraising for the Appalachian Mountain Club at both its Boston locations to celebrate the Seaport’s opening day. The first 100 guests in line at the new location or at Honeygrow in Fenway on October 13 will get a free lunch, and can donate the price of the meal (or more) to the Boston-based non-profit. It will open the doors at 10:30 a.m.
Opening October 13, 2017 at 100 Northern Ave., Seaport, Boston; 1282 Boylston St., Fenway, Boston, 857-991-1647, honeygrow.com.
