A First Look at Equinox Seaport

We’re used to taking in, er, good views at the gym, but this is next level: Open today, Equinox Seaport overlooks 270-degree vistas of Rowes Wharf and Boston Harbor from floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the club.

In keeping with the theme, the fitness facility’s fifth Boston outpost, a.k.a. “Port House,” incorporates several other nautical touches, including hex tiles in the locker rooms and shipping yard-inspired furniture.

The third-floor space, in the new luxury Benjamin residences, boasts amenities that will look familiar to Equinox regulars—there’s a spa, Juice Press bar, and fitness apparel shop with Spiritual Gangster and Michi gear. There are also two WiFi-outfitted work/lounge spaces for members.

You’ll also find tons of new workout equipment, of course, plus four dedicated fitness studios with classes ranging from barre and cycling to boxing and cardio HIIT.
