What do you do? I’m the women’s manager at Dolce & Gabbana.

How would you describe your personal style? I would say it’s somewhere between classic and trendy.

Do you have any style icons? You know, I do. I like Amal Clooney, I like Catherine Middleton, Grace Kelly, and Kate Moss.

What’s your favorite piece in this outfit? I love this coat. It’s the Icon Coat from Max Mara and they don’t make it in this slate color anymore.

I like how it’s a bit oversized. Yes, and it comes with a tie, so you can wear it like a robe as well.

Where do you like to shop in Boston? I should plug my store, so Dolce & Gabbana, obviously. I do like Max Mara a lot for their monochromatic clean lines like this. I like AllSaints, Rag & Bone. I like All Too Human, they’re really cool.

You have a subtle accent. I’ve lived in Norway, Paris, and NYC. I love to learn about fashion from different cultures. In Paris there is a femininity that is special. In Norway the style there has this grounded coolness. In NYC you learn about the importance of having a distinct look. I heard a great quote the other day: “Style is the dress of thoughts.”

Who said that? Lord Chesterfield.
