As if you needed another reason to be excited about patio season: Cinquecento debuts its first-ever bar menu on Monday, and the drinks-friendly Italian plates will also be served at the lovely, outdoor container bar when it reopens this spring.

Chef de cuisine Justin Winters has resurrected some signature dishes from Cinquecento’s recently closed sister restaurant, La Motta’s, for bar patrons. Italian-American classics like chicken parm; deviled eggs with Sicilian tuna; and a chopped salad with soppressata, provolone, oregano cream and pickled chilies are available at the bar and in the lounge only. The bar is definitely worth revisiting: Along with more than two dozen amari, a daily mocktail, and curated Italian wines by the glass and bottle, choose among house cocktails like Spartacus, with blood orange, scotch, cherry herring, and Gran Classico; and Rosa Picante, with spicy tequila, Aperol, and lime.

The bar menu launches Monday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m., and continues nightly until close.
