Wild Pops Is Now Open in Jamaica Plain
Bite into a locally made gourmet ice pop.
Shira Gold has brought a slice of sunny Los Angeles back home to Boston. After about a decade in California, the Brookline native recently relocated her gourmet ice-pop business, Wild Pops, to Jamaica Plain. Using only straightforward ingredients—think fresh whole fruit, honey, and coconut milk—Gold crafts small-batch treats in such inspired flavors as Spicy Pineapple, Mango Sticky Rice, and Strawberry Mint. You can find them at spots like Chilacates and Wildflower Pantry—and at her new J.P. storefront, where the freezer is stocked with nearly 20 options. “We have pops in every color of the rainbow,” she says.
