The forecast looked grim, but runners and spectators at the 2019 Boston Marathon were greeted with weather that was actually… pretty great? There were plenty of rainless hours, occasionally featuring the sun, to enjoy on Monday as thousands made the journey to Boylston Street. You can’t possibly take it all in by yourself, so here’s some of what we saw in Boston.

In Copley Square, Heatsheets President Chris Falk kept watch over the 35,000 insulated blankets his company brought to keep runners warm post-race. Some good news about them? They’re recyclable.
