On June 4, Boston’s notable and celebrated chefs joined together for Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation to benefit No Kid Hungry at the Cruiseport Terminal. Hosted by HGTV and Food Network personality, Taniya Nayak, the event also featured Boston’s top chefs, including the Fox and Knife’s Karen Akunowicz, Tony Messina of Uni, Smoke Shop’s Andy Husbands, Puritan & Company’s Will Gilson, Bar Mezzana’s Colin Lynch, Tiger Mama’s Tiffani Faison, and Craigie on Main’s Tony Maws. Share Our Strength Founder Billy Shore and his wife Rosemary were also on hand to mingle with guests. The event raised over $140,000 and they had a Chef Dunk Tank where notable chefs participated.
