Newton Country Day School
Since 1880, Newton Country Day School has educated girls to be thoughtful, effective, and compassionate leaders in a global society. The school’s mission is rooted in the vision of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, who in 1800 established schools of the Sacred Heart to prepare young women with the courage and confidence to transform the world.
The school offers a program for girls of all faiths in grades 5–12, with courses through the AP level. A dedicated faculty promotes a dynamic learning atmosphere, and students take advantage of academic exchanges across five continents through the international Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
Academics, the arts, and athletics build a vibrant school community. Social justice and prayer are essential elements that enrich each student’s experience. Girls are accepted to the most competitive colleges and universities with the goal of living meaningful and joyous lives. In an environment where every girl is known well, the school creates a foundation for a life of faith, integrity, and service. Please visit newtoncountryday.org.
