Recently we were fortunate enough to get our hands on an advance copy of Townie, the latest work by local writer Andre Dubus III. Instantly engrossing and hauntingly written, the memoir is a chronicle of the writer’s battles both physical and emotional. Pick up a copy starting Monday the 28th; then head to the Brattle on Tuesday, March 1, to hear the author discuss his book with another New Englander, Pulitzer-winning novelist Richard Russo.
