Discover the Dinosaurs
This weekend, take the kids to the Seaport World Trade Center to see Discover the Dinosaurs, a colorful, interactive exhibit of dinosaur replicas. You can look, touch, and even control the movements of some of these prehistoric giants. Make the animatronic dinosaurs roar, wave their arms, and find out whether the big head and little arms scene from Meet the Robinsons was accurate. The full experience of Discover the Dinosaurs includes Triceratops and T-Rex “rides,” inflatable play places, face painting, miniature golf, and more.

Ori Gersht's History Repeating at the MFA
Sunday is the final day Ori Gersht's History Repeating exhibit will be on display at the Museum of Fine Arts. This is your last chance to see Gersht's beautiful, yet violent slow motion videos of birds falling into water, splattering pomegranates, and bouquets exploding. History Repeating is a collection of Gersht's life work, described by The New York Times as “beauty, tender and fleeting, amid history’s ire.”

Boston: Inspirational Women
This weekend is also your last chance to see photos of inspirational women on display at Suffolk University. The portraits were taken by Bill and Kerry Brett in their recent book Boston, Inspirational Women, and include powerful images of influential women like Uma Thurman, Diane Patrick, Martha Coakley, and more. The exhibit also highlights everyday women in Boston who work in law enforcement, construction, and other important roles to keep the city running.

Debbie and Friends Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook School
Rather than sleeping in on Sunday, consider taking the little ones to see Debbie and Friends perform kids' music at Coolidge Corner Theatre. Debbie and Friends is an award-winning band from Berklee College of Music, and they will be joined this weekend by Grammy winner Bill Harley. All proceeds from this concert will benefit the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. Families are encouraged to bring cards, letters, drawings, and stuffed animals to send to the students of Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Murder at the Science Museum Scavenger Hunt
You and your most clever friends are needed at the Museum of Science on Saturday to find out who has been killing off museum staff. Search the museum and hunt for clues to find the guilty party. (The scenario painted by Watson Adventures suggests that the Curse of the Freemasons might be afoot, but we don't buy that.)
