When they played at Boston Calling last month, locally formed band Lake Street Dive said they planned to return to Boston for New Year’s.

Now, at last, tickets are available for not one, but three December shows. The jazzy quartet—who met at the New England Conservatory of Music before hitting it big on YouTube in 2012—will play the Sinclair on December 29, 30, and 31. Each show comes with a theme: “Homecoming” on the 29th, “Hawaii Beach Party” on the 30th, and finally, “Prom” on New Year’s Eve.

Tickets technically go on sale to the general public at Ticketmaster on Friday at noon, although Lake Street Dive has already shared the password for pre-sale tickets on Twitter:

The local favorite’s latest album is called Bad Self Portraits, and in addition to playing Boston Calling this year, they’ve also been winning over audiences across the country with performances on Conan, Ellen, Letterman, and Colbert (“Jazz? Oh…then why do I like your music?”).

But the band’s most viewed performance on YouTube remains their 2012 cover of the Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back,” which was performed on a sidewalk in Brighton:

$35 for December 29 and 30 shows at 9 p.m., $50 for December 31 show at 9:30 p.m., The Sinclair, 52 Church St., Cambridge, sinclaircambridge.com.
