Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Are Teaming Up for a FOX Show
Remember those couple years when Matt and Ben didn’t work on anything together? Yeah, we don’t either.
Well, Damon and Affleck are back at it yet again, teaming up for another TV series, and this time they’re working with 30 Rock producer Colleen McGuinness. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the duo’s production company, Pearl Street Films, is working on an untitled single-camera comedy for FOX.
The show follows a “25-year-old woman who works at a frozen yogurt shop and whose life is going nowhere—until she discovers she’s telekinetic.” Woah, trippy! We’re sensing some That’s So Raven undertones.
McGuinness will write the script and executive produce alongside Damon, Affleck, and Pearl Street president Jennifer Todd.
Damon and Affleck also have their hands dirty with a number of other projects for the small screen. Both are involved with a Syfy series called Incorporated, as well as the reboot of HBO’s Project Greenlight and a TV series with CBS titled More Time with the Family.
As for independent projects, The Middle Man is an Affleck-directed crime series also created for FOX, not to mention he’s also busy being Batman. Damon is reportedly reprising his role as Jason Bourne in 2016, while also confirmed to star in a locally based movie called Manchester-by-the-Sea.
