‘SnowMANia’ Is Coming to Lawn on D

Shoveling out your car after the blizzard might be bumming you out right now, but the Lawn on D has an activity that’s more fun in mind for the weekend.
Come one, come all to the Lawn’s next big “Winter on D” event, “SnowMANia,” a gathering that might just be Boston’s biggest snowman building contest ever.
The public is invited to visit the Lawn on Saturday afternoon and build the coolest snowman they can. Winners young and old will be crowned in the following categories: Best Dressed, Most Handsome/Beautiful, and Most Likely to Succeed.
“Most Likely to Succeed,” eh? Better bring Frosty a three-piece suit.
To level out the playing fields, the competition will be divided into two age groups, one for ages 10 and younger, and another for builders older than 10.
The Taco Truck will be on hand to provide sustenance.
