Check out Jennifer Lawrence, guys. The actress has been in town shooting her latest movie Joy, and has already adapted to our abrasive Bostonian ways.

Though the middle finger business is beyond endearing for individuals who hate other individuals, the real magic is her DGAF attire in the right image that that is so well-received around here in the context of snow. Bean boots, pajama pants, and oversized beanies are clearly the new black.

J.Law’s been in Boston since early February, and even skipped the Oscars last weekend to browse the stores at the Prudential with her small dog in tow. Joy is another David O. Russell-directed film she’ll star which chronicles the rise of the woman who invented the Miracle Mop.

Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro are also co-starring alongside Lawrence. With Russell, they’re the same foursome behind Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. The latter was filmed in and around Boston back in 2013.

Though Lawrence appears to be staying in town somewhere, Joy has been shooting on location in other Massachusetts towns like Wilmington and North Reading. March 2-4, they’re expected to film in a garage on Winter Street in North Reading, and a building at 45 Industrial Way in Wilmington.
