Summer in the City at the Boston Harbor Hotel
Friday nights June 19-September 4
For 17 years, the Harbor Hotel’s “Summer in the City” entertainment series has brought three nights of free music every week, as well as free movies on Friday nights June through September. This year, there’s variety for everyone.

Select Tuesday nights in June, July, and August
In partnership with the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Coolidge Corner Theatre is launching a new and free outdoor movies series that takes place at the Greenway’s Wharf District Park (located between Milk and India Streets in Boston). They’ll screen three classic films on one Thursday every month, June through August. Note: Rain dates are June 23, July 21, and August 11.

More free family movies are coming your way thanks to Magic 106.7’s Family Film Festival. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the South Garden at the Pru, and check out other entertainment, children’s and giveaways if you’re there by 6 p.m. Note: Rain dates will be held the following Wednesday.

Family fun Fridays just got better with free movies at the Hatch Shell. Hosted by WBZ NewsRadio 1030 and the DCR, the outdoor movie series celebrates its 30th year at the Hatch. Blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks are encouraged.
