Maria Menounos Reportedly Will Replace Giuliana Rancic on E! News

Giuliana Rancic’s last day as anchor of E! News is on August 10, and the rumors have been swirling about who will inherit the coveted role of dishing on who Harry Styles is dating and who wore what on the red carpet.

Us Weekly and the Daily Mail are reporting that the person filling the role will be Medford native Maria Menounos. The 37-year-old has been a television mainstay for more than a decade and left her role at Extra in 2014. Like Rancic, Menounos has starred in her own reality show, Chasing Maria Menounos. The fit host told me last year that when she’s in town, running the Charles is her “obsession,” just like the rest of us.

In addition to her new role anchoring E! News, Menounos is hard at work on her third book.
