Gisele Releasing Coffee Table Book About Herself…for $700
The good news: Gisele Bündchen has a new coffee table book on the way, which should make for the perfect holiday gift for any fans of the legendary supermodel.
The catch: it’s going to cost $700.
According to People, the book is being released by German publishing company Taschen and will commemorate Bündchen’s 20-year career as a fashion icon.
The upcoming hardcover book will include 300 photos spanning her two decades on the runway. Bündchen, along with creative director Giovanni Bianco, designed and curated all of the content and pictures that will be included.
Featured on the cover will be the model’s iconic nude portrait taken by famed photographer Irving Penn. That will definitely get your dinner guests talking when they see the book sitting on your coffee table.
“It is a unique artistic presentation of the most famous Brazilian export together with Pele and Senna, and the highest-earning model in the world,” the publisher told People.
While there’s no word yet on when the book will hit shelves, don’t expect to pick it up as a last-minute gift. Only 1,000 copies of the limited edition book are being created, so be sure to get one quick.
Also, each copy will be personally signed by Bündchen, which may explain the $700 price tag.
The only question remaining is whether or not her famous beau, Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady, will make an appearance. Who wouldn’t want to see a few pics of the power couple together?
Then again, having photos of both Brady and Bündchen together may be too much for one coffee table book to handle.
Let’s just hope her promotional tour for the book’s upcoming release goes better than Kramer’s attempt on Seinfeld. His book may not have featured shots of an amazing supermodel, but at least it could turn into its own coffee table…
