Steven Tyler Can’t Stop Gushing Over Taylor Swift
Steven Tyler may not be a fan of Donald Trump, but he sure does love Taylor Swift.
In a recent interview with GQ, the Aerosmith frontman couldn’t stop gushing over the reigning queen of pop, who he joined on stage during a stop on her “1989” tour earlier this fall.
The pair of music icons sang “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” together when Tyler made a surprise appearance at Swift’s Nashville show in September.
Singing 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' with @IamStevenT was an honor. So inspired by how sweet he was to all of us. pic.twitter.com/D6YOv1yYXe

It turns out that the “Bad Blood” singer left a huge impression on Tyler, who compared Swift’s star power to the global popularity of Madonna.
“She is an incredible entity—it’s unreal what that woman is,” Tyler told GQ. “She reminds me of the wonder around Madonna.”
The Aerosmith star was also surprised that the younger audience members at the Nashville show actually knew the lyrics to his song.
“Well, I don’t wake up in the morning and go, ‘Oh, my God, I’m Steven Tyler,’ but I walked onstage in front of a bunch of 16-year-olds, and they were all singing the lyrics at the top of their lungs,” Tyler said. “It was a real moment.”
After such a glowing commendation, hopeful this earns Tyler a spot in Swift’s #squad.
