After a slow roll of show announcements for gigs in London, New York, Manchester, and Southern California, the Lush reunion tour has finally hit full-bloom. And it comes in two parts, spring and fall.
The reunited shoegaze and Britpop band today announced a much anticipated North American tour, and on the second leg, it comes to Boston’s Royale on September 15. The local date comes a day after the Lush’s previously announced appearance at Terminal 5 in New York City.
Other dates on Lush’s autumn North American tour include stops in Chicago, DC, and Philadelphia. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.
As it stands now, Lush’s first live appearance since reforming late last year will come in Los Angeles, a show April 14 at the Roxy Theatre. They then play Coachella Music & Arts Festival in California on April 16 and 23, before bouncing back to the United Kingdom for what were supposed to be their initial shows: Manchester’s Academy on April 30, and May 6 and 7 at London’s Roundhouse. Other spring gigs on our side of the Atlantic include San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
