Fuller House stars Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin appeared on Tuesday’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about the upcoming sequel to their hit ’90s comedy.

While the actresses were there to debut a new trailer to the Full House follow-up on Netflix, they also told a hilarious Christmas party story involving a few drunk texts to New Kids on the Block’s Jonathan Knight.

Good thing the cast has remained friends over the years, as Cameron-Bure admitted to the talk show host that she and Barber might’ve “had a little bit too much” wine during the festivities, which led to some sitcom-style antics.

“It turned into a Full House episode,” she said. “I was like, ‘Andrea, you can’t drive home,’ so we’re texting Jonathan Knight because we’re huge New Kids on the Block fans, and we’re having this whole Twitter conversations.”

Cameron-Bure added, “Then I gave her my pajamas and tucked her into my son’s bed, and [she] was like, ‘Thanks, Deej.'”

Luckily, Danny Tanner wasn’t there to give DJ and Kimmy a scolding for having too many drinks and bothering the NKOTB heartthrob.

It’s not that surprising that the ’90s stars are friends, though, as Cameron-Bure and Barber hung out backstage with the band a few years ago.
