Jimmy Fallon Explains His Web of Whale Lies to Jenny Slate on the Tonight Show

Former Saturday Night Live star Jenny Slate swung by the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night to promote her new animated flick Zootopia.

After chatting about her brutally honest campaigns to become class president during her four years at Milton Academy, the Massachusetts native got a hilarious story out of the late night host.

Fallon talked about the time he was caught in a web of lies while attempting to avoid a conversation with a Boston cab driver following a visit to the New England Aquarium.

The driver wouldn’t stop asking him for details on seeing the whales, although the comedian never actually went on the whale watching tour. After a while, Fallon just couldn’t keep up the schtick and blurted out his confession.

“I’m going into what snacks they served on the thing. I never saw the whales!” Fallon joked. “OK, you got me.”
