A Free Screening of Beyoncé’s Lemonade Is Happening in Boston Today

This is not a drill people: Beyoncé’s Lemonade will be screened for free in Boston on Friday afternoon.
If you missed the debut of the popular new visual album on HBO or just don’t feel like downloading Tidal, you can check out Queen Bey’s latest masterpiece at the Boston Centers for Youth and Families at Roxbury Crossing. The free screening, which is being hosted by Press Pass TV, kicks off at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion.
According to the event’s Facebook page, only people 13 years of age and older will be allowed to check out the screening due to the albums “strong adult language.”
If you can’t make it to the afternoon screening, you can try and catch Beyoncé in the flesh when her “Formation” tour comes to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro this summer. Good luck finding tickets, though.
There’s also going to be a Bey-themed event called the “Brunch Bubbles and Beats Day Party” at the Monroe Restaurant in Cambridge, which is going down on Sunday, May 1. According to the event’s Facebook page, fans will have a chance to win two tickets to Beyoncé’s show at Gillette.
Judging by all of the events going on, it’s a good time to be a member of the Beyhive in Boston.
