Exclusive: Stephen Gostkowski to Guest Star on American Gothic
Stephen Gostkowski is heading to a television near you this summer.
The New England Patriots kicker will be a guest star on an upcoming episode of the new, Boston-set series American Gothic on CBS.
The 13-episode mystery drama, which debuts on Wednesday night, is centered around a wealthy Boston family named the Hawthornes. They becomes entangled in a web of lies and suspicion after finding out that their deceased patriarch may behind decades of serial murders by a culprit known as the “Silver Bells Killer.”
Gostkowski will play himself during his appearance on episode three of American Gothic, titled “Nighthawks.”
While he likely won’t have a major role on the show, expect lots of drama when the Patriots star stops by the series. According to the official log line, there will be some complications when Alison (Juliet Rylance) asks Gostkowski to support her campaign for mayor.
As police begin to focus on the Hawthorne family’s possible connection to the “Silver Bells Killer,” Cam attempts to erase his past while Garrett reconnects with his. Also, Alison’s campaign seeks the support of local professional football player, Stephen Gostkowski, but the endorsement is complicated by the risky actions of one of her siblings.
Gostkowski’s episode of American Gothic will air on Wednesday, July 6 at 10 p.m. Check out more photos from his guest appearance below.
Starring Justin Chatwin, Megan Ketch, Antony Starr, and Virginia Madsen, American Gothic premieres on CBS Wednesday, June 22 at 10 p.m.
