Giants Fan LL Cool J Says He Loves His Friend Tom Brady

From Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to Mark Wahlberg and Justin Timberlake, Tom Brady has a lot of famous friends. Apparently his squad of stars also includes rapper and actor LL Cool J.
In addition to being pals with Brady, the Lip Sync Battle host is now business partners with the Patriots quarterback and a number of other notable locals who recently became investors in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. LL Cool J revealed during a 20th anniversary event at Mohegan Sun on Saturday night that he’s excited to team up with Brady—despite being a Giants fan.
“Tom’s great,” LL Cool J said. “I’m from New York, so I’m a Giants guy, but I love Tom.”
The “Mama Said Knock You Out” rapper added that Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who’s also involved in the UFC deal, is a “great guy” and a good friend as well.
“I’m just excited to see what we can do with the UFC and where it goes from here,” LL Cool J said. “We’ll see what happens.”
The hip-hop star walked the red carpet with a few Boston sports heroes over the weekend, including retired Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon and former Patriots receiver Wes Welker. The evening also featured appearances by fellow Lip Sync Battle host Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend, actor Joe Manganiello, actress Anna Kendrick, and singer Robin Thicke.
