Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s Romance Began in Boston

Boston has served as the backdrop for several rom-coms over the years, so it’s no surprise that the city played role in sparking an actual Hollywood romance.

According to a new Instagram post by Blake Lively, the actress revealed that she fell in love with her husband Ryan Reynolds while dining at local sushi hotspot O Ya. Lively thanked the restaurant while celebrating the Deadpool star’s 40th birthday at O Ya’s New York location.

“We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY,” Lively wrote in the caption. “Thank you for the best food and memories! You are our favorite!”

Reynolds thanked his “wife, buddy, and international spy” for the special day in an adorable post of his own on Instagram.

The couple reportedly started dating in 2011 while Reynolds was in Boston filming the box office bust R.I.P.D. Before they began their high-profile fling, the pair worked together in 2010 on the critically hated comic book movie Green Lantern.
