New Kids on the Block Make an Appearance in Fuller House Season Two Trailer
Between the return of Gilmore Girls and Fuller House, Netflix seems to be on nostalgia overload to finish out the year.
The streaming service released the first trailer for season two of the Full House spinoff on Tuesday morning, once again taking viewers on a trip down memory lane. Proof that the ’90s are back and will never die, the trailer features an appearance by Boston-loving boy band New Kids on the Block.
“It’s New Kids on the Block!” Andrea Barber’s Kimmy Gibbler yells upon meeting the band in the video.
The group was rumored to make an appearance on the show after actress Candace Cameron-Bure posted a photo on Instagram of NKOTB hanging out on the set. Band members Joey McIntyre, Jordan and Jonathan Knight, and Danny Wood joined DJ Tanner for the picture, however, Donnie Wahlberg was noticeably absent, likely due to a prior selfie engagement.
NKOTB stopping by the Tanner household isn’t a huge surprise, as Cameron-Bure revealed to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year that she’s pretty close to the group and is even drunk text buddies with Jonathan Knight.
