Louis CK Explains to Conan O’Brien Why He’s Voting for Hillary Clinton

Louis CK knows half his fans won’t be happy to hear it, but he’s voting for Hillary Clinton on Election Day.

The veteran comic explained to Conan O’Brien on Tuesday night why he wants to see the Democratic presidential candidate in the White House over her rival Donald Trump. According to the Newton native, Clinton is “really talented” and a “great” choice for the Oval Office.

“It’s not a lesser of two evils,” CK said. “I would take her over anybody else that would do it.”

The comedian added that he’s excited by the prospects of having a mother become president because moms know how to handle business.

“It’s not about the first woman, it’s about the first mom,” CK said. “A mother, she’s got it. A mother just does it. She feeds you and teaches you. She protects you. She takes care of s–t.”

While he thinks dads are great too, CK noted that America has endured “240 years of fathers,” so it may be time for a change.

Although the Louie star isn’t a fan of Trump, he has “no problem with anybody who votes” for him. However, CK does believe that Trump supporters are getting duped by the Republican presidential candidate.

“I think if you vote for Hillary, you’re grown up. If you vote for Trump, you’re a sucker,” CK said. If you don’t vote for anybody, you’re an a–hole.”
