Gisele Writes on Instagram That She and Tom Brady Aren’t Backing Donald Trump

Donald Trump hopes flaunting his friendship with Tom Brady will lure would-be voters to his side on Election Day, particularly Patriots fans in important states like New Hampshire. However, it sounds like the quarterback isn’t as keen on Trump as the Republican presidential candidate would have people believe.

While their relationship has caused quite a bit of controversy ever since a “Make America Great Again” hat was spotted in Brady’s locker, it sounds like the Patriots star won’t support the billionaire at the ballot box. According to a post on Instagram, Gisele Bündchen revealed that she and her husband aren’t backing Trump, despite their high-profile friendship.

The model dispelled any rumors of the Brady-Bündchen household being in the conservative candidate’s corner in a reply to a fan’s comment on a recent photo. Gisele wrote an emphatic “no” in response to a suggestion that the couple supports Trump.

The short post seems to refute repeated claims by Trump that Brady is an avid supporter of his campaign. The candidate stated at a rally in New Hampshire on Monday that he received a call from the quarterback on the eve of the election.

“Tom Brady, great guy, great guy. Great guy, great friend of mine—great, great champion. Unbelievable winner,” Trump said. “He called today and he said, ‘Donald, I support you, you’re my friend, and I voted for you.’”

Considering Trump’s penchant for fudging the truth, it isn’t surprising that he’s wrong about Brady’s support for his White House run.
