The accolades are starting to pile up for Casey Affleck.
After taking home the prize for best actor at the Critics’ Choice Awards over the weekend, the Massachusetts star became a Golden Globe nominee on Monday for his work in the new Bay State film Manchester by the Sea. Affleck was nominated for best performance by an actor in a drama, one of five Golden Globe nominations for the movie.
Jackie, the new Jackie Kennedy biopic, scored one nomination, as star Natalie Portman earned a best performance by an actress in a drama nod for her portrayal of the former First Lady.
