It’s almost over now, but 2016 has sure been a wild ride. In case you’d like to look back at it, Google has neatly summed up this year in the form of an interactive list.

Google released its annual Year in Search data today, which has been broken down into categories like news, politics, film, entertainment, sports, and more. Unsurprisingly, this year’s top trending searches reflect 2016’s main events—the Olympics, the election, and of course, Pokémon Go.

Google also examined the top search data for the city of Boston. For the most part, Bostonians searched the same things as the rest of the nation. We hoped to win Powerball, we were confused about Brexit, and we mourned the shooting in Orlando.

Somehow, Boston was more curious about Michael Phelps than Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, and we searched for Simone Biles more often than Needham native Aly Raisman. And even though there’s seemingly a Dunkin’ Donuts on every street corner around here, we still had to search for Dunkin’ Donuts near us.
