Rob Gronkowski Brings the Party to Family Guy This Weekend
Rob Gronkowski and his infamous party bus roll into Peter Griffin’s neighborhood this weekend.
The injury-prone, Patriots tight end is making a stop in Quahog, Rhode Island, for a special appearance on this Sunday’s Family Guy. In addition to lending his voice to an animated version of himself, Gronk will get the chance to show off his dance moves in the episode, titled “Gronkowsbees.”
According to the official synopsis, the football phenom will be the Griffins newest neighbor who brings the fun “until his antics become overwhelming.” The episode will also focus on Stewie’s journey in beekeeping, which involves an ill-advised attempt at giving bees steroids in order to produce more honey (hint: it doesn’t go well).
This isn’t the first time Fox has given Gronk the animation treatment. In October, The Simpsons featured a dim-witted, dance-loving player named “Dom Bonkowski” during the show’s all-Boston episode.
Judging by the image below, it looks like Peter and the gang are in for a rough time when Gronk comes to town.
The tight end isn’t the only Patriots star who’s had a cameo on Family Guy. Quarterback Tom Brady appeared on New England native Seth McFarlane’s hit show in the 2006 episode, “Patriot Games.”
