Calling all brandy enthusiasts: the ultimate boozy getaway is closer than you think. A new lobby bar opened at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel this February, and to celebrate, the place is offering a brandy-inspired special called the “I’ll Take It Neat” package.
The hotel’s new bar offers more than 60 varieties of brandy—making it one of the largest selections in the area—plus a list of brandy cocktails and a selection of Armagnac, Calvados, Cognac, and Brandy de Jerez. And just in case spring decides to never show its face in New England, you can hole up with a cup in front of the lobby’s glowing fireplace.
The “I’ll Take It Neat” package takes an overnight stay in a deluxe guestroom a step further. It also includes a bottle of brandy with snifters, a hardcover copy of Brandy: A Global History, a three-course dinner with a brandy or wine pairing, a nightcap in the brandy bar, and the option for a late checkout.
