Chapo Trap House Is Coming to Boston
Calling all Boston-area grey wolves: Chapo Trap House is coming to town.
The irreverent, leftist podcast hosted by Will Menaker, Felix Biederman, Matt Christman, Virgil Texas, and Amber A’Lee Frost will record a live episode at Harvard’s Science Center on April 14, featuring a “Ivy League Spirit Cooking Session” and a tournament to decide, “Who is the most evil person to come out of Harvard?”
Tickets for the event have already sold out, but don’t despair—Chapo will attend a fundraiser for the Boston chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America the following night at Lir on Boylston Street.
Guess who's shipping up to Boston: @CHAPOTRAPHOUSE. Come to @LirOnBoylston 4/15 for a Chapo Fundraising Spectacular! https://t.co/sOYY04IIfW

Chapo Trap House gained prominence during the 2016 presidential election for its unflinching—at times, vulgar—criticism of both Republicans and center-left Democrats, earning the attention of the New Yorker and other mainstream outlets. The podcast produces one free and one premium episode each week, the latter available to those who contribute $5 a month to its Patreon page.
The New York-based show is hardly unfamiliar with Boston, from their regular roasts of Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby and his annual open letters to his son, to Biederman’s fervent love of Dunkin’ Donuts—real butter or otherwise.
