The First Trailer for Stronger Is Here
The Boston Marathon Bombing movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Jeff Bauman.

The first trailer for Stronger, the Jake Gyllenhaal movie about the Boston Marathon Bombing, is finally here. Gyllenhaal was photographed around Boston shooting the movie around the same time that Mark Wahlberg was filming Patriots Day. But unlike that movie, which focused on the bombing overall, this movie tells the story of Jeff Bauman, who lost his legs in the bombing, and the aftereffects of what he endured.
The movie also stars Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black as Bauman’s then-fiancee, Erin, who was running the marathon that day, and who he had gone to cheer on at the finish line. The movie is scheduled to premiere September 22, and is based on Bauman’s book of the same name. You can see the full trailer below.
