Photos from the Roaring Twenties Lawn Party
Dapper flappers and dandies descended upon Castle Hill on the Crane Estate last weekend for the fifth annual Roaring Twenties Lawn Party, a vintage celebration hosted by Boston Swing Central and Trustees of Reservations.
The annual affair attracts thousands of revelers dressed in ’20s finery. Guests are encouraged to dance, picnic, tour the historic mansion, stroll the grounds, browse the vintage market, and even enjoy a drink or two in the “Bootlegger’s Garden.” This year, the festivities spanned two days—and though gloomy weather rolled in on Saturday, Sunday’s sunshine drew hearty crowds out to Ipswich.
