Friday Block Parties Are Taking Over the Fenway This Summer
Blackbird Doughnuts, By Chloe, Sephora, and others are participating in the festivities, with live music and giveaways until August 31.

Mookie Betts’ home runs won’t be the only thing lighting up Fenway this summer.
Fenway Fridays, an all-new summer block party series, starts this week with exclusive treats, live music, and giveaways throughout the Fenway area. Every Friday from July 20 to August 31, @TheFenway will post clues on Instagram for followers to hunt down hidden prizes like cash and gift cards. While you’re on the prowl, various restaurants and shops in the neighborhood will also get in on the dealmaking, and offer drink and sale specials.
For instance, at Blackbird Doughnuts, July 20 only, try a cold brew coconut doughnut, or stop at Sweet Cheeks Q for the Fenway Fizz, a special block party cocktail concoction. Sephora will be giving away free sample bags and mini makeovers, and at vegan fast-casual restaurant By Chloe, nosh on some free sweet potato mac n’ cheese with your burger. The Verb Hotel and rock & roll Japanese tavern Hojoko will also be hosting live music, poolside, every Friday at 5 p.m.
And if you’re a sweepstakes fan, you’ll be pleased to know that one lucky Fenway visitor who enters online will win a grand prize package featuring local merch, Red Sox tickets, and one night’s stay at the Verb.
