A Gigantic Bounce House Is Coming to Revere This Summer
You can get your bounce on in the world's largest inflatable castle.
This summer, the most fun you’ll have with your shoes off might not be on the beach or in the pool.
The world’s largest bounce house (known to man) is coming to Boston this summer. Well, Revere — but it’s worth the trip up north to witness and bounce around in this veritable piece of history.
The spectacle is called “The Big Bounce America.” It holds the prestigious Guinness World Record for largest inflatable castle, a record that exists. And according to the schedule for its summer tour, it’ll be coming our way after the Fourth of July.
It’s not your average birthday party rental bounce house. The Big Bounce is around 10,000 square feet, split into zones with endless activities for each three-hour session.
There are ball pits. There’s a giant slide. There are inflatable forests complete with inflatable jungle animals. There’s a basketball court for the wobbliest game of pickup in the world. And if you get tired, there’s bouncy four-poster beds for you to (kind of) relax in. And all this is set to constant jams courtesy of a bouncing DJ booth in the middle of it all.
If all that still doesn’t satisfy you, The Big Bounce’s tour also has a couple of supporting acts. There’s airSPACE, an interstellar play space where you can bounce like a real astronaut or race four of your friends down a huge slide. And then there’s the aptly named “Giant,” a 900-foot obstacle course.
Tickets are available for all age groups, from toddlers to big kids looking to let some steam off from work. Of course, parents and families can all accompany their little ones, but the most serious grown-up bouncers are going to want to reserve an adult session.
The Big Bounce is stopping in Fredericks Park—a short walk away from the Beachmont MBTA stop—on its 2019 tour July 5-7 and 12-14. Tickets range from $16-30. So pick out your best socks, grab some friends and leave the Swiss Army knives at home.
