Summer entertainment season is upon us, and you know the Museum of Fine Arts Boston has more than a few fun activities planned.

Most notably, their popular Concerts in the Courtyard series will return in July and August for nine weeks of lively music in the MFA’s beautiful Calderwood Courtyard. Each Wednesday night, the lush green courtyard will open its doors for a summer concert from different performers. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended, but note that larger bags, chairs, and coolers are not allowed. You can also order food and drink from the museum’s Courtyard menu to enjoy the concert picnic-style. Pro tip: Upgrade to Bravo Restaurant terrace seating to dine al fresco while watching the concert from above.
