The MFA is “up where we belong,” or at least it will be for a few nights this summer.

The museum announced this week the lineup for its annual music series, Concerts in the Courtyard, kicking off July 5 with Buffy Sainte-Marie, cowriter of the aforementioned hit from An Officer and a Gentleman.

Every Wednesday evening for nine weeks this summer, you can visit the MFA to enjoy—in addition to world-class art—live music in the lush Calderwood Courtyard. Bring your own picnic (nonalcoholic beverages only) or purchase beer, wine, and snacks on site. The Bravo terrace will be open for members. The rest of us should consider bringing blankets or low lawn chairs.

Here’s the lineup:

Buffy Sainte-Marie (July 5)
Blick Bassy (July 12)
Tank and the Bangas (July 19)
Las Cafeteras (July 26)
Ruby Rose Fox (August 2)
Banda Magda (August 9)
Patty Larkin (August 16)
Debo Band/Alsarah and the Nubatones (August 23)
Traveller (August 30)

Wednesdays, July 5-August 30, doors open at 6 p.m., music starts at 7:30. Non-member ticket prices $30-$36. For tickets and more information about the performers, visit mfa.org.
