Yiqing Shao, Digital Editor at Boston Magazine
Yiqing Shao has been an editor at Boston magazine since 2012. As the digital editor, she oversees all editorial operations and strategy of bostonmagazine.com and other web properties such as social media and e-newsletters. Yiqing double majored in journalism and English at Michigan State University and has a master's degree in publishing from Emerson College. She's trained in both editing and design, and cares (maybe too much) about hyphenation rules, aligning to the baseline, and proper nesting of HTML tags. She's pro-Helvetica and speaks passable Mandarin and Spanish.
