Choosing from the nearly 100 restaurants in the North End can be tough, but we always find ourselves heading back to Carmen for simple but tasty pasta dishes topped with the restaurant’s signature Bolognese sauce and delicate crespelle filled with earthy mushrooms. The menu, like the dining room, is small but focused, with excellent selections well suited to the season. If only every decision were this easy.
