2011 Best Charlestown Restaurant, Casual
Navy Yard Bistro
The general lack of dining options in this corner of the city is good news for this petite bistro near Old Ironsides: It’s packed to the gills nearly every night. So while it doesn’t have to be great, it’s all the more delightful that it is. The buttermilk-fried oysters are some of the tastiest in town; the spice-rubbed pork chop with grits is pure comfort. Quality over quantity, indeed.
