Petite Mort Fur
Um, excuse us, but bespoke fur accessories fashioned from roadkill? Pamela Paquin changed us from skeptics to apostles with her stunning gauntlet gloves, leg warmers, hats, and neck muffs made from dearly departed New England wildlife. Paquin frequently sources the raccoons, foxes, and beavers herself, while highway departments and animal control officers inform her if bigger animals like bears have been struck. She then skins them and turns their salvaged pelts into high-end custom pieces. “Ethical fur” is no longer a contradiction.
