This seven-year-old Newton spot has long been a neighborhood favorite for its traditional Moldovan cuisine: plump little pork dumplings, a deeply delicious wine-and-rosemary-braised lamb dish, tasty cheese-and-potato pies. The wine list, which dives deep into interesting picks from Moldova, is also a winner. Lately, we’ve been thrilled to see the restaurant amping up its schedule of live music and other entertainment with a diverse lineup of bands every Friday and other activities — swing dancing, calligraphy lessons, wine tastings, and more — throughout the week.
