Doing Wright, Fall 2011
A Boston architect adds to his family’s three-generation compound with the finesse of a modern master in his guest house at Squam Lake, New Hampshire. The Rest is History, Summer 2012
A Boston couple transforms a centuries-old Nantucket cottage into a serene family retreat. When they began the extensive renovation, they uncovered major structural issues, but in the process, also discovered many welcome surprises including the dining room’s original cooking hearth, which had been walled over. The restored beehive stove functions as a pizza oven, used by the family all summer long.
