Alpha Omega Liquidation Sale Begins Tomorrow

Late last month, Boston Daily spoke to Michael O’Hara, the chief restructuring officer for Alpha Omega. He told us that the troubled jeweler’s liquidation sale would begin on January 26. You can imagine our surprise when we got a press release saying the sale will begin tomorrow.

It turns out there was a short period of non-liquidation markdowns while the four Alpha Omega stores took inventory. Now that the remaining merchandise has been accounted for, a private sale is underway for existing Alpha Omega customers today. The remaining merchandise will be available to the public starting tomorrow.

Every item Alpha Omega had in stock will be marked down, including designer items. The liquidation sale will also take place at the three Alpha Omega Express locations in Harvard Square, the Prudential Center, and the Burlington Mall.

No excuses for being chintzy on Valentine’s Day this year, gentlemen.
