Awards or Certifications

Practicing since 1991, Dr. Shiro Kamachi received his dental degree from Kyushu Dental College in Japan and Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He received a post-graduate certificate degree in Prosthodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kamachi holds the rank of Associate Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the editorial review boards of Quintessence of Dental Technology. He has received the Excellence in Teaching in The Clinical Sciences award multiple times from Boston University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kamachi is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Osseointegration. He was president of the MA section of the American College of Prosthodontists from 2010 to 2012.
