Perhaps you thought custom-made, “bulletproof,” stain-repelling suits were only for oligarchs or James Bond. But having your own state-of-the-art bespoke threads doesn’t require keeping Q on retainer. Not when you can drop by custom menswear outfitters Indochino.

As part of their mission to end civilian schlubbiness, Indochino specializes in whipping up a one-of-kind suits for less than $500, delivered to you within three weeks. They started out as an online-only operation—helping customers get the right fit by mailing them $29 Tailor’s Kits (which come with $29 worth of Indochino credit). But now they’re starting to move into the brick-and-mortar space, too—and today, they’re launching a Newbury Street showroom, one of only four in the U.S.

After running a successful pop-up shop in Boston in 2013, “we’ve been keeping a sharp eye out for a brick-and-mortar location in Boston,” Indochino CEO Kyle Vucko said in an announcement for their grand opening. “We see a great future in the city and are confident we will inspire Bostonians to dress their best every day.” To celebrate the occasion, anyone who buys a full-priced suit at their Boston location before August 30, 2015, will receive a free wrinkle-free shirt ($79).

Indochino, 85 Newbury St., Boston. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Schedule an appointment at indochino.com/boston.
